1. Toggle between Full-Screen and Windowed Mode

By default, Kodi opens in full-screen mode. But with this keyboard command, anyone can easily toggle from full screen to windowed mode. It also allows the users to access other applications simultaneously when using Kodi.
2. Toggle Subtitles On/Off

In some cases, both the audio and video of a particular film or video doesn’t sync well. In those cases, you can use a keyboard shortcut for adjusting audio delay control such that it syncs perfectly with the video or film.
4. Volume Down, Volume Up or Mute
Shortcut Key: ” (-)minus ” , ” (+)plus ”
If you want to increase the volume of a film/video just press + key. Or else if you want to decrease the volume of film/video then press – key. For a required level you have to press the particular key multiple times to change the volume. Even if you want to mute the video completely then press – multiple times such that it becomes zero.
5. Fast forward
Shortcut Key: ” F ”
To skip a particular part of a movie/video then simply press the key F. If you press this key for once the video will be fast-forwarded at 2x pace. If you press for twice it will be forwarded at 4x pace and so on. For forwarding the movie/video to 30 seconds then you can press the right arrow key alternatively.
6. Play
Shortcut Key: ” P ”
To start the video/movie press the key P.
7. Pause and Play
Shortcut Key: ” SpaceBar ”
Either to play or pause a video the only thing you have to do is press the key SpaceBar. It is the same shortcut key even for the YouTube and VLC Media Player.
8. Stop
Shortcut Key: ” X ”
To stop a particular video when you are watching just press the key X.
9. Rewind
Shortcut Key: ” R ”
While you are watching either a movie or video you may love a particular scene in such cases just press the key R to rewind back. If you press for once the video gets rewind at 2x pace for twice then rewind at 4x pace and so on. You can also use the left arrow key to rewind for 30 seconds alternatively.
10. Previous Menu or Home Screen

If you wanna get back to previous menu or home screen simply press the key Esc. Without clicking the multiple keys it saves your time by pressing a single key.
11. Take a Screenshot
Shortcut Key: ” Ctrl + S ” or ” PrtScr ”
If you want to take a screenshot of what is playing on Kodi then simply press a key Ctrl+S. Just by pressing once a dialog box asks the location for saving that screenshot where you prefer. Another way of taking a screenshot is press the key PrtScr which will be saved to the clipboard. You can open that with Paint and press Ctrl+V key.
12. Shut down Menu

14. Zoom Picture From Level 1 to Level 9
